On March 14, 2022, the RGNUL Cosmos successfully organized not only its very first event, but also the university’s first offline event after its reopening. The Movie Night was a fun filled night for the students of all batches. The event was decided after a long brainstorming session with all team members and it took place on a Monday night at the Seminar Hall of the Academic Block from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Four movies were shortlisted – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, A Quiet Place 2, The Hangover and Welcome. The four movies were put to vote for the students to decide and among these, the competition came down to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Welcome, the later emerging the winner.
The venue started filling before time with students bringing in refreshments to enjoy the movie. The laughter and cheers continued throughout the movie, getting louder towards the climax as all characters came together. As the credits rolled, the audience cheered closing a successful and fun event. While Rajiv, Sanjana and Ish(a)iska ran from RDX in the last few minutes, the students chose to stay and cheer to celebrate the closing of a successful event.
