The Traditional Night: A Night to Remember

Updated: May 2, 2022

On 2nd April 2022, the RGNUL Cultural Committee (RCC) organized the Traditional Night at the Student’s Square of the Academic Block. This was RGNUL’s first cultural event since the pandemic. It was a two-part event including Chai Unplugged and DJ Night and the dress code for the same was traditional.

The event was a huge success with active participation from all the batches. The combined event was very intricately planned by the organizing team to keep the students engaged throughout. Typically, a Chai Unplugged includes musical and dance performances from students of various batches and this one was no different. Students performed various medleys and the event ended with an energetic Bhangra performance. The highlight of Chai Unplugged were the confessions (made by the students) which were read out by the host. The RCC kept a box in the canteen where all students could drop in their confessions while staying anonymous. The audience had the time of their lives hooting, cheering and giggling.

Post 7:00 PM, it was the DJ Night for which the Cultural Committee invited an amazing DJ and setup food stalls for refreshments. The last two hours were ecstatic with students dancing and enjoying the party. The event concluded at 9:00 PM leaving students with a night to remember.
