The Farewell week ‘DEEWANGI’ was organized from the 25th-29th April 2022 by the batch of 2023. It crept up sooner than anyone would have liked. Having spent the better part of the last two years watching our time in college slip by, we embraced it, no matter our desire that it does not arrive to pass at all.
The embrace of the outgoing batch was the tightest and for good reason. Every event – be it a sporting match or a dance-off – had a sense of finality. No wonder they won every contest on the field and every heart at the parties, which although numerous, seemed to be far from enough.
To remind us of the fun we had, and the promises we made, all we need do is recount the events we shared. From tug-of-war battle, basketball, football, and cricket tournaments to flash-mob, retro-night, karaoke night, roast everything culminated with the prom on the starry night of 29th April 2022. Based on their contribution and impactful presence through these five years, titles for Mr./Ms. Farewell and Mr./Ms. Popular was bestowed by the junior batches.
This farewell was an emotional rollercoaster for all of us. It included cherishing our seniors’ memories, happiness, sadness, and the unhappiness of parting with them.
