10th RGNUL National Moot Court Competition, 2022



The RGNUL Moot Court Committee (RMCC) successfully conducted its 10th National Moot Court Competition in association with Late Lala Dip Chand Memorial Trust. It was held virtually from 1st – 3rd April 2022. 50 teams across the country participated in the competition. Eminent judges and senior advocates adjudged the preliminary and final rounds. The University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi won the 10th RGNUL National Moot Court Competition.


Emphasizing the need for mooting in a law student’s life, Prof. G.S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL remarked: “Mooting is not only about presenting propositions but also applying propositions to argue for required results”. Further explaining the importance of drafting, writing, and researching skills.


RGNUL once again proved that serving society can be achieved through reforms in legal services by way of preparing professionally competent lawyers. The current moot was a complete reflection of the motto of our university which is ‘knowledge empowers’.
